EMILE C. SUTCLIFFE has been CEO of Tecan Group since December 1998.
Previously he was CEO of OSCILLOQUARTZ SA, an affiliate of SMH, from
1992 to 1998. Earlier he held different positions with Contraves
MicroCircuits Division at Oerlikon-Contraves in the years 1989-1992, as
head of sales and marketing and General Manager. In 1987-1989 he was
Manager of technology development with ABB Multichip Modules. He holds a
Dr. TechSc (PhD) in Physical Chemistry from ETH Zurich and an MBA in
Strategic Business Management. Profile
Dr. Sutcliffe: Tecan is active in the life sciences, where we are
covering the four key markets, mainly the basic research
