H.joseph Reiser – Cytogen Corporation (cyto)

H. JOSEPH REISER, Ph.D. President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, joined Locus in January 2003. Previously, Dr. Reiser served as President, Chief Executive Officer at Cytogen Corporation from 1998 to 2002 and is currently a member of the board of directors. Prior to Cytogen, Dr. Reiser was Corporate Vice President and General Manager, Pharmaceuticals and a member of the board of directors for Berlex Laboratories, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Schering AG. During his 17 year tenure at Berlex, Dr. Reiser also held other positions of increasing responsibility, serving as the first President of Schering Berlin's Venture Corporation, Vice President, Technology and Industry Relations, and Vice President, Drug Development and Technology. Dr. Reiser also served on the boards of Endeavor Pharmaceuticals and Personal Health Technologies Inc. and as Chairman of the New Jersey Biotechnology Council from 2001-2002. Dr. Reiser received his Ph.D. in Physiology from Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also earned his Masters and Bachelor of Science degrees. Profile
