Clayton Duncan – Incara Pharmaceuticals Corporation (incr)

CLAYTON I. DUNCAN has been President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Incara Pharmaceuticals Corporation since January 1995. From 1989 until 1994, Mr. Duncan was President and Chief Executive Officer of Sphinx Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company which was acquired by Eli Lilly and Company in September 1994. From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Duncan was a Founder and Chairman of the Board of CRX Medical, Inc., a predecessor to Closure Medical, Inc., a publicly traded medical products company that markets products and conducts research and development in the use of cyanoacrylates for wound management. Mr. Duncan also serves on the Board of Carolina Ballet, a professional ballet company located in the Research Triangle of North Carolina. He received a Master's degree in English from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an AB and MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Profile
