California. December 1991 to November 1993: Louisville Gas and Electric
Company (LG&E), Louisville, Kentucky President and Chief Operating
Officer LG&E is the principal subsidiary of LG&E Energy, a Louisville,
Kentucky-based utility holding company. August 1977 to December 1991:
Portland General Electric Co. (PGE), Portland, Oregon. During almost 14
years with PGE, served in increasingly responsible management positions.
Last position with the company was senior vice president. Education:
Graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis,
Maryland, in 1966 with a degree in nuclear science; two years of Navy
postgraduate nuclear engineering training; George Washington University
graduate business studies; Public Utility Executive Course at the
University of Idaho; Stanford University Graduate School of Business
