PAMELA PATSLEY is president, chief executive officer and a director
Paymentech, Inc., the third largest processor of credit card
transactions in the United States as well is a leading issuer of
commercial credit and charge cards. Under Ms. Patsley's management,
Paymentech grew at an annual rate of 30% between 1992 and 1997, and
processed $46 billion in sales volume during 1997. Prior to Paymentech,
Ms.Patsley served as executive vice president and board secretary for
First USA, Inc., the former parent company of Paymentech. Before joining
First USA, she worked for KPMG Peat Marwick for more than six years. Ms.
Patsley serves on the board of directors of Adolph Coors Company and
Coors Brewing Company, and First Virtual Holdings, Inc. She is a
member of Visa's Card Operations Advisory Committee and International
Payment System Advisor's Committee. Patsley serves on the Strategic
Development Board for the College of Business and Public Administration
at the University of Missouri, and on the board of directors of several
civic and cultural organizations. She is also a member of the Young
President's Organization and a member of Southern Methodist University's
