HITOSHI KAWAGUCHI is Vice President ' Corporate Strategy of Nissan France SA. He graduated from Hitosubashi University (Japan) with a Faculty of Economics in 1976. He joined Nissan Motor Co., a month later and has been with the company ever since, holding several positions at various sites throughout the world: Export administration and coordination department- Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan (April 1976-March 1980); Assistant to president, mainly in the area of sales, marketing, and finance/accounting-Nissan Motor Netherlands B.V., Lisse, The Netherlands (May 1983-April 1988); Nissan's European Headquarters establishment project leader, Overseas Operation Department-Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan (May 1988-December 1989); Manager of Business Planning- Nissan Europe N.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands (January 1990- June 1994); manager of Product Planning- Nissan Motor Co.
