Upstream Producers Move Toward Liquids-rich Reservoirs – Duane Grubert – Susquehanna Financial Group Lllp

Duane Grubert covers oil and gas exploration companies for Susquehanna Financial Group LLLP, drawing on more than two decades of oil industry and Wall Street experience. Mr. Grubert joined Susquehanna as a Senior Analyst in 2010 after working at CRT Capital Group LLC from 2007 to early 2010. Prior to that, he worked as an Analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein Co., LLC from 2000 to 2003, Fulcrum Global Partners LLC from 2003 to 2005 and Execution LLC in 2006. Once published, Mr. Grubert was voted Institutional Investor's Up and Comer for both exploration and production and for natural gas, and was in the top 10 for both categories thereafter. He spent 17 years at Union Oil Company of California as a Petroleum Engineer, in international business development and finally as General Manager of Corporate Strategy and Business Intelligence. He has lived and worked in Thailand, Alaska and California. He has executed on $100 million in drilling projects, received a technical patent for oilwell frac work, has driven large-scale contract negotiations overseas, and he has worked with senior management in Latin America and Asia.
