Timothy Swanson / Kenneth Bolich – Wachovia Asset Management

TIMOTHY L. SWANSON is a Senior Vice President of Wachovia Asset Management with responsibility for all equity investments and personnel. He joined the firm in 1991 as a Personal Portfolio Manager. Since that time, he has managed the Wachovia Equity Index Fund, co-developed and co-managed the Wachovia Emerging Markets Fund, and managed the Core Equity product. Mr. Swanson became Senior Vice President in 1998 and assumed his current duties in September of 1999. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Rochester. Mr. Swanson has nine years of professional investment experience and is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research and the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts. KENNETH J. BOLICH is a Vice President with Wachovia Asset Management, serving as an Institutional/Personal Port-folio Manager and Securities Analyst for the Core Equity product's Technology sector team. He was previously associated with Prudential Secu-rities. Mr. Bolich received a BA from Stanford University and an MS in Business Admini-stration from Duke University.
