Kristina Salen is a Portfolio Manager for Fidelity Asset Management. Fidelity Investments is a provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services. Ms. Salen manages Select Multimedia Portfolio, Select Telecommunications Portfolio, Fidelity Advisor Telecommunications Fund, Fidelity Telecom Services Central Fund and VIP Telecommunications portfolio. She also comanages the telecommunications subportfolios of Fidelity Stock Selector All Cap Fund, Fidelity Advisor Stock Selector All Cap Fund and Fidelity Series Broad Market Opportunities Fund. She also serves as the sector leader for the telecommunications, multimedia and Internet groups. Ms. Salen began managing the Select Multimedia Portfolio in September 2006 and Select Telecommunications Portfolio, Fidelity Advisor Telecommunications Fund and VIP Telecommunications portfolio in July 2009. She assumed comanagement responsibilities for Fidelity Stock Selector All Cap Fund and Fidelity Series Broad Market Opportunities Fund in November 2009 and for Fidelity Advisor Stock Selector All Cap Fund in July 2010. She became sector leader for the telecommunications, multimedia and Internet groups in 2009, and served as the sector leader for the consumer discretionary group from 2008 to 2009. Before joining Fidelity in 2006, Ms. Salen was an Assistant Vice President and Senior Analyst for the media and communications team at Oppenheimer Capital from 2001 to 2005. From 1997 to 2001, she worked for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers as a Vice President and Equity Analyst. In 1996, Ms. Salen joined Lazard Freres & Co. LLC, working as an Equity Analyst until 1997. She began her career in 1994 as a Research Associate in the Latin American retail sector for SBC Warburg, Inc. Ms. Salen received a B.A. in political science from Vassar College and an MBA in finance from Columbia University. In 1993, she was designated a Fulbright Scholar. Profile
