Chaitman, Sean
Sean Chaitman has been the President and Chief Investment Officer of Shelter Rock Management, LLC since the firm was founded in 2006. He has close to three decades of investment experience as a portfolio manager and a research analyst. Prior to Shelter Rock, he was a member of Heirloom Capital Management, a long and short investment fund that had assets in excess of $500 million. He was responsible for the firm’s global investments in telecommunications, media, technology and other industries. He was also a member of the investment fund Zinc Capital Management where he focused on technology investments. Mr. Chaitman was formerly a senior equity research analyst at Jesup & Lamont Securities Corporation and a member of Smith Barney’s value stock research team. At these firms he worked with portfolio managers and analysts at some of the largest institutional investment companies worldwide. Mr. Chaitman has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He has been quoted and featured in The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, Forbes, Reuters and The Wall Street Transcript. Mr. Chaitman is married to Lori, Vice President of Investor Relations at Sealed Air Corporation, and they have two sons named Max and Jack. Profile
