Minimally Invasive Medical Devices – Dr. Sean Lavin – Lazard Capital Markets Llc

DR. Sean Lavin is an analyst covering the medical technology space. He joined Lazard Capital Markets LLC in March 2008. Prior to joining Lazard Capital Markets, he was a sell-side analyst at Oppenheimer and Co., covering medical devices and diagnostics. He focuses on minimally invasive devices and those that he believes can change the standard of care. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, he worked as a surgical resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. While there, he participated in general, plastic, trauma, vascular, cardiothoracic and urologic surgery cases and cared for patients in the ICU, emergency room and burn unit. He has an MD degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and a BS degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology and a concentration in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
