Macro Headwinds In Packaged Foods – Ann H. Gurkin – Davenport & Company Llc

Ann H. Gurkin is a First Vice President in the research department of Davenport & Company LLC, with primary responsibility for coverage of companies in the packaged food, beverage and tobacco industries. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, she was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Crestar Asset Management. Previously, Ms. Gurkin worked in the research department at Wheat First Securities Inc. following the food, beverage and tobacco industries. TWST: It seems the space has been out of favor. What will change that?

Ms. Gurkin: Historically, the space tends to lag in the beginning of each calendar year, so we're not surprised. The stocks had a
