L. PETER SMITH is President and Chief Executive Officer of CorSolutions
Medical, Inc. Under Mr. Smith's Leadership, CorSolutions has
demonstrated consistent clinical and financial outcomes. The company has
grown from $5 million in annual revenues in 1995 to more than
approximately $50 million in 2000. His distinguished career in health
care has spanned over 20 years. From 1978 to 1989, he held numerous
positions with Baxter International, Inc., including four years as Chief
Operating Officer of Japan Travenal Ltd. Tokyo, and President of
Caremark, Inc. ' Baxter's homecare subsidiary. In addition to his role
at CorSolutions, Mr. Smith serves on the Board of Directors of Coram
Healthcare and AMSYS, a private diabetes management company. He is a
member of the Board of Directors for Northwestern Memorial Management
Corporation and serves on the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations. A
graduate of Princeton University, he received his MBA from the

Mr. Smith: CorSolutions was started in 1994. Actually, it was started as
Cardiac Solutions.
