James Oberweis – Oberweis Asset Management

JAMES D. OBERWEIS is President of Oberweis Funds and Chairman of the Board of Oberweis Asset Management. He started his career in 1968 as a junior high school math and science teacher. In 1970 he became a stockbroker with a large retail brokerage firm. Mr. Oberweis managed a branch for an NYSE member firm and in 1978, along with his wife, Elaine, founded his own brokerage and investment management firm. In 1976 Mr. Oberweis developed The Oberweis Report, a monthly investment advisory newsletter specializing in emerging growth companies. The Oberweis Report was rated in the top five of all stock investment advisory letters for a 10-year period through May 2000. Mr. Oberweis started the Oberweis Emerging Growth Fund in January 1987 and has been President and Portfolio Manager since inception. In 1996 the Oberweis Micro-Cap Portfolio and Oberweis Mid-Cap Portfolio were added. In 1997, along with his son Jim and other partners, he started, Inc. (since renamed Oberweis Securities), an online trading and full service stock brokerage firm. He has been quoted in many financial periodicals. Mr. Oberweis has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. TWST: Jim, you've managed to produce excellent performance for the

shareholders of the Oberweis Micro-Cap Fund. Tell us about your mandate.

Mr. Oberweis: Most of the companies that we buy at
