INVESTING IN HOMELAND SECURITY STOCKS: A.HAMILTON / S.LEVENSON – ADVEST INC

STEPHEN LEVENSON joined Advest as a Director in the equity research department in May 2003. He covers small capitalization stocks, primarily in the areas of aerospace, defense and homeland security. Prior to joining Advest, he was a Senior Vice President at Gerard Klauer Mattison for three years. In 2002, he received an honorable mention in the Institutional Investor All-American Research poll for coverage of aerospace and defense companies. Before joining Gerard Klauer Mattison, he spent 20 years on the buy side, including involvement in leveraged buyouts and investments in distressed securities. He received his BS in Finance from the University of Vermont with additional concentration in Mechanical Engineering. Profile
ALEXANDER HAMILTON, Vice President, worked with the aerospace/defense team at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1999-2003 before joining Advest. At CSFB, the three member team had been ranked the number one global aerospace/defense team by Institutional Investor for three years running and the number two All American aerospace/defense team in 2001 (and was ranked all years eligible). The team was also ranked number one by theStreet.com and Reuters in 2000 for cohesiveness, accuracy and communication of team's ideas. Prior to joining CSFB, Mr. Hamilton worked with the same team at Morgan Stanley from 1998-1999, where it had also been ranked by Institutional Investor.
