Nancy Prial, CFA, is Co-Chief Executive Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager at Essex Investment Management Company, LLC. She also is the portfolio manager for the micro, small, and SMID growth strategies. Prior to joining Essex in 2005, she was at Burridge Growth Partners as the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President responsible for the SMID and Small Cap Growth Strategies. Previously, she was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at American Century Investors. Her career began at Frontier Capital Management. She received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and mathematics from Bucknell University. She also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a Trustee Emeritus at Bucknell University.
