I.AINSWORTH / M.GRAMMER – MACKENZIE FINANCIAL CORPORATION

MARK GRAMMER has over 14 years' investment industry experience and joined Mackenzie Financial Corporation in August 2003. His presence provides proven global expertise to the in-house Mackenzie growth team. Prior to joining Mackenzie, Mr. Grammer was VP, International Equities and co-head of the Global Equity Team at Altamira. Among his primary management responsibilities were the 5-Star Morningstar Altamira Asia Pacific Fund (December 1997); Altamira Japanese Opportunities Fund (December 1997); and Altamira Global Value Fund (since inception). The Altamira Asia Pacific Fund was first or second quartile over all calendar years of his management tenure. Mr. Grammer has progressed through more senior positions during his 15-year career in the investment industry, gaining experience first as an Analyst at Confederation Life in 1989, then moving to VP International Equities, HSBC Securities, Institutional Sales in 1991 before joining Altamira in 1997. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Electrical Engineering) from University of Toronto, and an MBA in Finance from York University. He is a CFA charterholder and a licensed Professional Engineer. IAN AINSWORTH joined Mackenzie Financial Corporation in April 2003 as Senior Vice President, Investments, and is lead manager of Universal Future Fund (and its Capital Class version), Universal Emerging Technologies Capital Class, Universal Global Future Fund (formerly Janus Global Equity Fund), and co-manager of Universal Select Managers Canada Fund (and its Capital Class version). Mr. Ainsworth has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Dalhousie University. He is a CFA charterholder. Previously, he was a Vice President and Managing Director at Altamira Investment Services Inc., where he was a Portfolio Manager from 1992 to 2002, managing Canadian, US and global portfolios. In June 1998, Mr. Ainsworth was appointed lead manager of Altamira Equity Fund. In August 1999, he was appointed head of the company's equity investment activities.
