EUGENE PROFIT – PROFIT INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

EUGENE A. PROFIT is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Profit Investment Management (formerly known as Investor Resources Group), an SEC-registered investment advisory firm. He is primarily responsible for managing the portfolios of the Profit Large Cap Equity Composite, the Profit Fund, a hedge fund investment partnership, and other investment portfolios for individuals, financial institutions, charitable organizations and pension plans, and has acted in this capacity since October 31, 1997. He is also responsible for managing Profit's engagement as a subadvisor of Calvert Social Investment Fund Balanced Portfolio. Prior to founding Profit Investment Management, he was a financial Consultant with Legg Mason and an Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction Principal with Securities America, Inc. He is licensed as a Financial and Operations Principal, Registered General Securities Principal, and Registered Investment Advisor. Before officially entering the financial world in 1994, he played professional football for five seasons with the New England Patriots and the Washington Redskins from 1986 to 1990. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Yale University in 1986, where he also achieved All-American honors as a long jumper. He has been engaged in the effort to educate African- Americans on investing as a means to closing the wealth gap and engendering economic freedom. He has been the subject of many national magazine and newspaper articles, is a frequent guest on CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg and financial news programs and has been the featured guest on Louis Rukeyser's 'Wall Street Week' and Lou Dobbs' 'Moneyline.'
