Electric Utility & Energy Stocks: Robert Rubin – Deutsche Bank Securities

ROBERT M. RUBIN is the Senior Fixed-Income Research Analyst covering the electric utility and energy sectors for Deutsche Bank Securities. He has covered the electric utility industry since December 1995, and began coverage of the energy sector in April 2002. Mr. Rubin joined the firm in April 2002 as a Director in the Investment Grade Research Department. Before that, he had been at Goldman Sachs since January 2000, where he was a Vice President and the Senior Fixed-Income Research Analyst covering electric utilities. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Rubin began his career at Bear, Stearns & Co. in December 1995, where he left as a Vice President and the Senior Fixed-Income Research Analyst covering electric utilities. Mr. Rubin has been ranked by Institutional Investor on its All-America Fixed-Income Research Team since taking over senior coverage of the electric utilities sector in May 1998. In 1999, he was named as Runner-Up, and in 2000 and 2001 he was awarded First Team honors. Mr. Rubin has also been a source of information for The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg News and various other major media sources, and is a frequent speaker at industry events.
