DERRICK N. KEY has been President of Roper Industries, Inc. since
February 1989, a Director and CEO since December 1991 and was elected
Chairman of Roper on November 1, 1994. Mr. Key was Vice President of
Roper from June 1982 until February of 1989. Prior to joining Roper, Mr.
Key was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney where he was based in
London, England until being transferred to Chicago in 1979. Mr. Key has
worked extensively in Europe and the Middle East where he resided in the
mid-1970s. Mr. Key was born and educated in the United Kingdom. Profile
