Brozak, Steve
Steve Brozak is the Managing Partner and President of WBB Securities, LLC, an investment bank and financial analytical firm engaged in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. Before co-founding WBB Securities, LLC, Mr. Brozak held positions in finance at several prominent Wall Street firms including Alex. Brown & Sons, Dean Witter, Cowen & Company and Salomon Brothers. As the firm's Senior Equity Analyst, Mr. Brozak has been distinguished from his peers year after year for his investment acumen and equity research performance by each of the major analyst ranking systems. Most recently in 2013, Mr. Brozak was selected as the number two-ranked analyst in the pharmaceuticals sector by the StarMine/Financial Times Industry Analyst Awards system. The Wall Street Journal distinguished Mr. Brozak as its Best on the Street medical equipment and supplies financial analyst in its 19th Annual Best on the Street Survey published in 2011. In 2010, Mr. Brozak received StarMine Thompson Reuters/Financial Times Best Brokerage Analyst award for his selection of top-performing companies in the biotechnology space. With a 30-year track record in banking and analysis in the life sciences space, Mr. Brozak is a highly sought after media commentator on the life sciences sector by prominent news agencies on the web, television, and in print media. As a speaker, Mr. Brozak is invited to address major institutional audiences at numerous industry conferences and summits to share his ideas and expertise in identifying trends in the health care and life sciences space. Mr. Brozak is a regular guest commentator for Bloomberg Television and CNBC, where he is asked to share his opinions on health care companies and trends. Mr. Brozak also frequently writes for Forbes and ABC News to express his latest views on the life sciences sector. Mr. Brozak served in the United States Marine Corps and on the Secretary of the Navy's Navy and Marine Corps Retiree Council, where he focused on health care, benefits and other veteran issues.
