CHARLES W. FRITZ is a founder of NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. and has
served as its President and as a Director since its inception, and as
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since
August 6, 1996. Mr. Fritz is currently a member of the Compensation
Committee. Prior to founding NeoMedia, Mr. Fritz was an Account
Executive with IBM Corporation from 1986 to 1988; Director of Marketing
and Strategic Alliances for the Information Consulting Group from
1988-1989; and a Consultant for McKinsey & Company. Mr. Fritz holds an
MBA from Rollins College and a BA in Finance from the University of
