CARTER ANTHONY – MORGAN ASSET MANAGEMENT

CARTER E. ANTHONY is President and Chief Investment Officer of Morgan Asset Management, a Regions company, in Birmingham, Alabama. He is Director of the Capital Management Group and is responsible for the comprehensive investment policy of the group, and has overall responsibility for the proprietary family of mutual funds. Mr. Anthony is the Portfolio Manager for the Regions Morgan Keegan Select Limited Maturity Government Fund, the Regions Morgan Keegan Select Fixed Income Fund, and the Regions Morgan Keegan Select Balanced Fund. He has 30 years' investment management, research and banking experience. Mr. Anthony earned a BS degree in Economics from the University of Alabama in 1967, a BA degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida in 1972, an MBA degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1977 and an MS degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1980. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 1984. Mr. Anthony is affiliated with the Canterbury United Methodist Church, the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham, the Country Club of Birmingham, the Monday Morning Quarterback Club, the Commerce Executives Society, U of A, the Associated General Contractors, the Alabama Forestry Association and the UAB MBA Alumni Association.
