Steven S. Marco

STEVEN S. MARCO, CFA, heads the Equity Strategy Committee at Marco
Investment Management, is responsible for derivative strategies and
oversees the trading desk. After spending seven years with NationsBank
Investment Management, he founded Marco Investment Management in 1998.
During his studies at Emory University, he developed a strong working
knowledge of equity option contracts and participated in several
research projects on option pricing during graduate school. While at
NationsBank, he managed portfolios for high net worth and institutional
clients and orchestrated the bank’s use of derivative contracts to hedge
risk for concentrated equity positions in taxable accounts. He holds
undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from Emory
University and a Master’s of Business Administration also from Emory
University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the
Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.
