JAMES KIDD – LNB BANCORP INC (LNBB)

JAMES F. KIDD, Vice Chairman and CEO of LNB Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary Lorain National Bank, is known in Ohio banking circles as the prototypical community bank CEO. With local roots, he began his banking career as a teller with Lorain National Bank in 1964. As he rose through the ranks of branch management, lending and senior management, Mr. Kidd has always been known by his employees and customers as the people's banker. His bank has grown to 21 branches with nearly $600 million in assets. A graduate of Findlay University, the Ohio School of Banking and a product of the prestigious Stonier Graduate School of Banking, he has directed the only remaining independently-owned, nationally-chartered commercial bank in Lorain County, Ohio.
