John St.amand – Telica Inc

JOHN ST. AMAND is co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Telica, Inc. Mr. St. Amand's vision for the evolution of the telecommunication equipment industry led to the founding of Telica, Inc. His intense drive to build the most premier telecommunications equipment company fuels Telica. Mr. St. Amand was previously Founder and General Manager of the Embedded Telephony Solutions division of Dynamics Research Corporation, responsible for development of carrier class switching systems. Prior to founding ETS, he was instrumental in DRC's entry into the telecommunications market, during which time he developed the strategic plan and managed the development of a next generation broadband-capable Operation Support System supporting GR-303 next generation digital loop carriers for competitive and incumbent local exchange carriers. He also architected and directed the engineering of a Regional Bell Operating Company central office billing system adjunct to AT&T's 4ESS, AT&T's 5ESS and Nortel's DMS100 switches based on X.25 packet switching and SS7 signaling. Prior to DRC, he held an engineering position with Raytheon. Mr. St. Amand holds a BSEE from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MSEE from Northeastern University. Profile
