JOHN PERGANDE is the Chairman and CEO of INSpire Insurance Solutions. He
is also the Managing Director of Buena Ventures Associates (BVA), an
early-stage venture capital partnership. BVA is backed by Sid R. Bass
and has been an investor in INSpire since October of 1999. BVA currently
owns 12.2% of INSpire. Mr. Pergande also serves on the boards of
InsureZone, Lexica, Tradecast, Single Source Communications, and
Xactimed. Prior to founding BVA, Mr. Pergande was Chairman and CFO of
Pyramid Services, a developer of insurance claims processing software.
Mr. Pergande has also held various positions at Electronic Data Systems,
Citibank, and Spear Leeds & Kellogg. Mr. Pergande earned a Bachelor's
degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and an
