Jim Mccord – Fast Track Systems Inc

JIM MCCORD is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fast Track Systems, Inc. He has built healthcare information companies since the early 1970s. In 1974, he founded and served as CEO of SysteMetrics, Inc., one of the first 'outcomes research' companies, which was acquired by McGraw Hill in 1982. From 1986 to 1994, he was founder and CEO of Decision Support Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shared Medical Systems, which conducted research using healthcare transaction data and provided software and services to US and European hospitals. From 1994 to 1999, he was CEO of Oacis Healthcare Systems, a leading supplier of advanced real-time clinical information systems for large provider organizations. The company went public in 1996 and was acquired by Science Applications International in March of 1999. Mr. McCord earned a BA in Economics from Antioch College (1964) and an MA in Economics and Operations Research from U.C. Berkeley in 1966.
