JEFFREY H. GREINER is the President and a Director of Advanced Bionics
Corporation. He has held this position since January 1996. Previously,
Mr. Greiner served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
and a Director of the Company since its incorporation in May 1993. Mr.
Greiner held the same positions with the neurostimulation segment of the
company's predecessor from June 1992 until May 1993. From July 1986
until June 1992, Mr. Greiner served as the Associate General Counsel of
Siemens-Pacesetter, Inc. Prior to July 1986, Mr. Greiner served an
educational commitment to the Air Force as a judge advocate from 1977 to
1986. Mr. Greiner received a BS degree in economics with highest honors
from the US Air Force Academy in 1974, a JD degree from the UCLA School
of Law in 1977 and an LLM degree with highest honors from The George
