James Webster – Drug Royalty Corporation (dri:tse)

JAMES R. WEBSTER is President of Drug Royalty Corporation Inc., a company that is a leader in the global healthcare royalty business by providing unique financial solutions to health-related organizations. Mr. Webster was formerly Vice President of Indal Limited, a diversified public company, prior to which he was Executive Vice President of one of Indal's business units. Earlier he was Vice President, Corporate Development of Indal Limited, where he was involved in mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture negotiations. In addition to his responsibilities at Drug Royalty, Mr. Webster is a member of the Board of Phytogen Life Sciences Inc. Mr. Webster is a Chartered Accountant, and has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a B Comm from the University of Toronto. He attended the Advanced Executive Management program at Columbia University. Mr. Webster published two articles on royalty-based financing in Canadian Treasurer, the first in February/March 1996 entitled 'A Win/Win Solution to Strategic Financing,' and the second in August/September 1999 entitled 'Extracting a Technology's Value Through Royalties.'
