JAMES L. SIMONTON has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Core
Molding Technologies, Inc., since June 2000. He served formerly with
Navistar International Transportation Corporation (International Truck
and Engine Corporation) for over 36 years. His employment at
International included starting as a Management Trainee in 1964 and
progressing to Plant Manager in several locations including Fort Wayne
Axle and Transmission Plant, Louisville Machining Plant, Indianapolis
Engine Plant and Springfield, Ohio, Assembly Plant. Mr. Simonton also
served as Vice President of Manufacturing for Engine and Foundry and
finally as Vice President of Purchasing and Supplier Development. He
received his BS degree from Bowling Green State University and his MBA
from the University of Dayton. Mr. Simonton has been a long-time member
of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Society of Manufacturing
Engineers and the National Association of Purchasing Managers. He is a
past Chairman of the Clark County United Way. He is currently on the
Board of Morgal Machine Tool Company, Inc. in Springfield, Ohio. Profile
