James Noble – Avidex Limited

JAMES NOBLE is Chief Executive Officer of Avidex Limited. Mr. Noble has 13 years' experience in the biotech industry, the first six as Finance Director of British Biotech. He then spent four years as a part-time Director at Oxagen Limited and non-executive Director at a range of Biotech companies. These include three listed companies, Powderject Pharmaceuticals (1997-2000), Oxford GlycoSciences (1997-2001) and Advanced Medical Solutions (1997-2000, Chairman). He also has served on a number of Boards of private companies and is currently a Director of Oxfordshire Biotechnet Limited and Bionex Investments Plc. Prior to his involvement in biotechnology, Mr. Noble spent seven years at Kleinwort Benson, becoming a Director in 1990. There, he was responsible for a wide range of clients across a number of sectors and was involved in a large number of transactions, from privatizations to hostile takeovers and fundraisings. Mr. Noble previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1983 after graduating from Oxford in 1980. Profile
