Jack Noonan – Spss Inc (spss)

JACK NOONAN has been President and Chief Executive Officer of SPSS Inc. since January 1992. Mr. Noonan's strategy of combining internal development with acquisitions is instrumental in the company's growth. Today, SPSS is a leading developer of analytical solutions. Mr. Noonan brings to SPSS more than 30 years of experience in several key areas of the computer industry. Most recently, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Microrim Corp., a privately held developer of database software products in Bellevue, Washington. He began his computer industry career in 1967, working in field engineering and systems development for IBM Corp. He remained at IBM for the next decade before moving to Amdahl Corp. of Santa Clara, California., makers of large computer systems. At Amadhl, he assumed such responsibilities in software development, marketing and customer service. The last position he held was Vice President of Corporate Product Support and Services. In 1985, he joined Los Angles-based Candle Corp., as Vice President of Technical Services, the company's engineering and support services division. A year later he was named Vice President of the Product Group, overseeing marketing, product development, planning and delivery. Mr. Noonan is the current President of the Chicago Software Association and serves on the Board of Directors at Morningstar, Fortel, Inc.
