J. CURT HOCKEMEIER has been President and Chief Executive Officer of
Arbinet-thexchange, Inc., since May 2000. Prior to joining thexchange,
Mr. Hockemeier was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer,
Telephony Operations, AT&T Broadband. Mr. Hockemeier has more than 20
years experience in telecommunications. As former VP-GM of Cox
Communications in Oklahoma City, Mr. Hockemeier has extensive experience
with cable television operations. At Teleport Communications Group, he
was responsible for affiliate services, construction of TCG's newly
developing markets and relationships with the cable industry. In 1998,
Mr. Hockemeier became AT&T Local Network Services' Vice President. Mr.
Hockemeier serves on the Board of Directors of Liberty Satellite and
Technology, SwitchPoint Networks and Arbinet-thexchange. Profile
