Mitchell D. Kaye, Principal, Chief Investment Officer, is a founding
partner of Xmark Asset Management and has been responsible for
overseeing all life sciences investments for the firm since 1996. During
that period, Mr. Kaye has managed the investment of over $100MM into
biotechnology, drug discovery, and medical device companies. Mr. Kaye is
also a founder of Originus Inc., a private, Ann Arbor, Michigan-based
biotechnology company focusing on proteomics and other drug discovery
technologies. Mr. Kaye was admitted to the New York State Bar
Association in 1996. Mr. Kaye received his BA from Wesleyan University
and his JD from the Northwestern University School of Law. Mitchell Kaye
is a member of the board of directors of the Alzheimer's Association-New
