HARRY GRUBER is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Kintera,
Inc. Using his extensive knowledge of Internet services as well as
experience with charitable fundraising, Dr. Gruber is establishing
Kintera as the leader in providing advanced Internet fundraising
solutions for non-profit organizations. Dr. Gruber brings a long and
successful entrepreneurial history to Kintera serving as the co-founder
and executive of several successful companies including INTERVU Inc.,
Gensia, Inc., and Viagene, Inc., all of which enjoyed successful IPOs.
Dr. Gruber is an active member of the Board of Overseers of the School
of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania, the University
of California at San Diego School of Engineering Advisory Council and
University of Pennsylvania Medical School National Alumni Council. He is
also a former member of the University of California at San Diego
Foundation Board of Directors and the 1990 Entrepreneur of the Year
honored by the San Diego Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Gruber was born in
Newark, New Jersey. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of
Pennsylvania, with a BA in Biochemistry and was Phi Beta Kappa. Dr.
Gruber also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of
Medicine and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He
completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Fellowship
training in both Rheumatology and Biochemical Genetics at the University
of California, San Diego. Dr. Gruber lives in Rancho Santa Fe with his
