Hal Kirshner – Trex Medical Corporation

HAL KIRSHNER was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Trex Medical Corporation in October, 1995. Trex Medical is a public subsidiary of Thermo Trex Corporation, a Thermo Electron company. Previous to Trex Medical, Mr. Kirshner served as president of LORAD Corporation, president of Electrolux Water Systems, president of Nimslo Professional Products, Inc., president of American Hydron, Inc. and group vice president of Cavitron Corporation. Prior to Cavitron, he held senior financial positions at Elgin National Industries, Inc. and the Singer Company. Mr. Kirshner is presently serving on the Ancell School of Business, Western Connecticut State University advisory board and on the board of directors of the Danbury Chamber of Commerce. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960-1966. Mr. Kirshner has an M.B.A. in Financial Management from Pace University Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from Hunter College, City University of New York. Profile
