GEORGE J. ZULANAS, JR., is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Uniroyal Technology Corporation. Traditionally known for the development and manufacture of specialty plastics, chemical and polymer products, Uniroyal is transitioning to a high technology company. As CFO, Mr. Zulanas has successfully moved Uniroyal from being highly leveraged to being cash positive, positioning Uniroyal for its rapid entry into the compound semiconductor industry. Uniroyal Optoelectronics manufactures high brightness light emitting diodes and Sterling Semiconductor produces silicon carbide substrates, epitaxy and devices. Before joining Uniroyal, Mr. Zulanas was Executive Vice President of Finance and Procurement at Tropicana where he was responsible for managing the financial, information systems, purchasing and business development functions.
