George C. Pierides – Fox Asset Management

GEORGE C. PIERIDES is Senior Vice President of Fox Asset Management. Mr. Pierides (39), a Senior Portfolio Manager and a member of the Equity Investment Committee, spearheads the firm's small-cap equity practice. He was formerly a partner at Windward Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Pierides was a Senior Vice President with Dreman Value Management, where he helped to develop and manage the firm's small-cap equity effort and was a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Earlier, he was with Value Matrix Management and Atalanta/Sosnoff Capital, where he was a Vice President, portfolio manager/analyst and member of the Investment Policy Committee. He began his career with Standard & Poor's Corporation, where he followed the food, beverage and tobacco industries in its Equity Research Department. Mr. Pierides has been quoted and published in the financial press, including the Associated Press, USA Today, Barron's and The New York Times, was previously a panelist on The Wall Street Transcript and has lectured on small-cap and value investing. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA with honors in Finance from the College of William & Mary. A member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, Mr. Pierides is married and enjoys saltwater fishing and golf in his spare time.
