Gene Grant – E-prime Financial Plc (epf.l)

GENE GRANT is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of e-primefinancial plc. Gene has 10 years experience in the financial services industry with particular skills in global project management, trading and risk management, and information technology. From March 1999 until commencing full-time employment with e-primefinancial in May 2000, Gene acted as the Chief Executive for the trading systems division of Lombard Risk Systems Limited. Prior to joining Lombard, Mr Grant was associated with Deutsche Bank as a consultant in 1996, and then in 1997 as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Global OTC Derivatives and Fixed Income Trading, and for a short period as a member of the Global Markets Risk Management team. In 1989 Mr Grant received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, then he studied one year in the MBA program before transferring to New York University as a research assistant while working on a Doctorate in Finance. After two years Mr Grant accepted an invitation to join a financial trading company, and then throughout the next four years he worked in New York and Chicago primarily trading foreign exchange, commodities, and exchange traded futures and options in proprietary and client driven trading roles.
