FRED D. ANDERSON is Chief Financial Officer Apple Computer, Inc. He
joined Apple as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in
March 1996. Mr. Anderson came to Apple from Automatic Data Processing,
where he was CFO. Prior to joining ADP, Mr. Anderson held several
domestic and international executive positions at MAI Systems
Corporation, including President and Chief Operating Officer as well as
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He also served as a
member of the company's Board of Directors. Prior to this, he was a
Manager in the consulting division of Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Anderson
received a Bachelors degree in Economics from Whittier College and an
MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. He served as a
Captain in the U.S. Air Force and is a Certified Public Accountant in
the State of California. He is also currently a member of the Financial
