Forecasting The Semiconductor Industry : Moshe Handelsman – Advanced Forecasting Inc

Moshe Handelsman is President and Founder of Advanced Forecasting, Inc. and has been actively involved in consulting and teaching market research and forecasting. In 1986 Dr. Handelsman introduced a quantitative forecasting model for the integrated circuit (IC) market in the U.S. More than 200 companies have used the forecasts for marketing, strategic planning, and investment decisions. In addition, his quantitative forecasting methodology has been applied to forecasting specific product lines in numerous firms. Dr. Handelsman regularly consults with clients from the semiconductor, semiconductor equipment and materials, computer, disk drive, distribution, and investment industries worldwide. Previously, he was a professor at Santa Clara University's School of Business where he specialized in strategic marketing, market research, and forecasting. He continues to conduct forecasting methods workshops for SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International) and on-site, customized seminars. He is also published in the top market research journals. Dr. Handelsman holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Technion Institute of Technology, Haifa, a MBA from Tel-Aviv University and Ph.D. in Market Research from Purdue University. Profile
