Philip Black – Box Hill Systems Corporation (bxh)

PHILIP BLACK has been Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Box Hill Systems Corp. (NYSE:BXH) since May 1995. From 1976 to 1991, Mr. Black held a number of positions including Vice President, President, Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board at Tekelec, Inc., a publicly traded company, of which he was the founder, engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of diagnostics systems and network switching solutions. From March 1990 until August 1991, Mr. Black served as Managing Director of Echelon Europe, of which he was a co-founder. In September 1991 Mr. Black became the Chief Executive Officer and Treasurer of Avalon Control Technologies, a company specializing in products and services related to Echelon's LONWorks technology, and served in those capacities until June 1994. In April 1994 Mr. Black became President and Chief Executive Officer of Chevry, a backup software company, and served in those capacities until he joined Box Hill Systems Corp. Profile
