JOEL I. BOYARSKI is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
WorldGate. Mr. Boyarksi joined WorldGate in 2000 as Vice President of
Business Development for TVGatewaySM, a joint venture of WorldGate and
cable operators: Adelphia Communications, Charter Communications,
Comcast Cable Communications, and Cox Communications. Mr. Boyarski
advanced to General Manager of TVGateway where he worked with the cable
operators. Mr. Boyarski worked with cable operators on the deployment of
the TVGateway Interactive Program Guide (IPG) application. He then was
promoted to his current role, and he presently oversees all accounting,
financial planning, and fundraising efforts of the company. A seasoned
finance and business development executive, Mr. Boyarski's career spans
over 30 years, where he directed the financial strategy of leading
global and Fortune 100 corporations. His diverse business background
includes experience as a mechanical engineer, CFO, business developer,
and deal maker. He has led business operations in the United States,
Europe, and Asia/Pacific regions. Before joining WorldGate, Mr. Boyarski
was with Joseph E. Seagram and Sons, Inc. for over 20 years. He held
several progressively responsible positions there, starting as Director
of Credit in 1977, working his way up to Vice President of Finance and
Business Planning. Mr. Boyarski is credited with leading a financial
strategy that resulted in dramatic growth, cost savings, and the
achievement of ambitious performance goals for Seagram operations
throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia/Pacific.Before joining
Seagram, Mr. Boyarski was a Manager of Financial Analysis for the Ford
Motor Company, and a project supervisor for Raytheon Company. He holds
an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Boston University, and a Bachelor of
