JIM HOWARD is CEO of CrownPeak Technology. Jim's professional background
combines extensive startup experience with years of software development
and professional services delivery and management. As a Partner with
USWeb/CKS, Howard sold and ran many of the company's largest projects.
He later supervised all Business Development for the Southwest Region,
where he personally generated more than $30 million in new business.
Later, as Managing Executive of Operations for the Southwest Group of
marchFIRST between Whittman-Hart and USWeb/CKS's southern operations.
He successfully combined disparate management teams,financials systems,
and operational components. Following the merger, Jim held the position
of Executive Partner, where he managed a 700-person, five-office region.
Howard left marchFIRST in early 2001 to help found CrownPeak Technology
and develop Advantage CMS. After three years in operation, CrownPeak is
the dominant company in the rapidly growing area of hosted content
management. CrownPeak has been named as one of the 100 most influential
companies in Online Content by Econtent Magazine, one of the top 20 ASPs
in the world by ASPNews, and made finals in two categories of the
prestigious Codie awards in 2003, for Best Content Management System and
