JAMES J. TREACY, President and Chief Operating Officer of TMP Worldwide,
Inc., joined the company in June 1994 as Chief Executive Officer for the
company's Recruitment Division, bringing an impressive financial
background to the world's largest yellow page and recruitment
advertising agency. Most recently, Mr. Treacy was appointed President of
TMP Worldwide after serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating
Officer since 1998. Mr. Treacy is responsible for corporate strategy and
development as well as company financing and investor relations while
being instrumental in driving continuing and meaningful increased
performance results for the company. He was previously Executive Vice
President - Finance and Strategy, a position he was appointed to in
April 1996. Mr. Treacy led TMP through the company's initial public
offering in December 1996 and follow on offerings in September 1997 and
February 2000. In 1989, Mr. Treacy was persuaded to join the WPP Group
USA, Inc., after the company's successful acquisition of his prior
employer, The Ogilvy Group, Inc. As Senior Vice President, Western
Hemisphere Treasurer, he was responsible for banking relationships, debt
restructuring and cash management activities from Canada to Chile and
from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Mr. Treacy spent five years at The
Ogilvy Group, Inc., one of the nation's largest consumer advertising
firms. Mr. Treacy received a Business degree in Accounting and Marketing
from Siena College and an MBA in Finance and Economics with honors from
St. John's University. He is a member of the Board of Associate Trustees
