James Murren – Mgm Mirage (mgg)

JAMES J. MURREN was named President and Chief Financial Officer of MGM MIRAGE on December 30, 1999. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1998. Mr. Murren is a member of the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee. Prior to joining MGM MIRAGE, Mr. Murren spent 14 years on Wall Street at C.J. Lawrence, Inc. (later merged into Deutsche Morgan Grenfell). In 1992 he was appointed Managing Director and elected to the Board of Directors of C.J. Lawrence in 1992. In 1994, he was appointed co-Director of Research and Managing Director of Deutsche Bank. Mr. Murren is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He was a five-time all-star analyst in Institutional Investor's All American survey, and the top ranked analyst in the Greenwich Associates survey. Mr. Murren has been recognized on The Wall Street Journal's All-star Analyst team five times. He is responsible for all corporate finance functions including capital markets, investor relations, internal audit as well as lender relations. Mr. Murren: MGM MIRAGE is the
