James Mersereau – Carderock Capital

JAMES W. MERSEREAU is Managing Director of Carderock Capital, a trademarked service of The Mersereau Company for providing investment management services to the clients of Financial Advisors. Mr. Mersereau is the President of The Mersereau Company, and assisted in its formation in 1986. He serves as Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, Mr. Mersereau worked for Riggs National Bank from 1983 to 1986 and served as Assistant Vice President, Corporate Lending and Loan Review. Additionally, he worked for Merrill Lynch from 1979 to 1980 as a Corporate Intern and Trainee in the Sales and Regional Municipal Bond Departments. Mr. Mersereau has a BA with honors from Vanderbilt University and an MBA with honors from the Kogod School of Business, American University. His other designations include: Chartered Financial Analyst, Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, and Chartered Investment Counselor, Investment Counsel Association of America.
