JAMES LAMBERT is the Chief Executive of Richmond Foods Plc, having been
appointed in April 1998. He had previously been Managing Director of
Herdwise UK Limited in 1985 and led that business to become the largest
private independent cattle breeding company in the UK. He was appointed
Managing Director of Richmond Ice Cream Company Limited in April 1987,
since when the company's sales and profits increased significantly. He
has a particular interest in developing strong customer partnerships. Profile
