JAMES F. CONWAY, III is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
of Courier Corporation. Courier is headquartered in North Chelmsford,
Massachusetts, and has three lines of business: full-service book
manufacturing, customized education and specialized publishing. Prior to
joining Courier he worked for Rand McNally & Company in which he held
various management positions from 1975-1983. Mr. Conway was appointed
Manager of Business Development and Procurement, The Murray Printing
Company, August 1983; Vice President of Marketing and Business
Development, The Murray Printing Company, June 1984; Vice President
Marketing and Business Development, Courier Corporation, August 1985;
Vice President and General Manager, March 1988; elected President and
Chief Operating Officer, July, 1988; President, CEO and Acting Chairman,
December 1992 and elected Chairman of the Board, September 1994. Mr.
Conway has a BA degree from Harvard College, Cambridge, and an MBA from
